Make people take notice to raise awareness and/or make a difference to help those with low vision! When you have your idea, POST on SOCIAL MEDIA and CHALLENGE YOUR FRIENDS!! In order to be entered in our contest, you have to follow steps 1, 2 or 3 depending on your social media preference.). See additional guidelines below.

Frame your social media page with a yellow border and tell all your friends to do the same. Be sure to say why you are doing so.
Wear a Paint it Yellow shirt and POST a picture of you wearing it on social media with the hashtags listed.

I might not have a chance to submit an entry. What can I do to make the world a better place? You can
You never know what someone is going through. You might encounter someone who has issues with vision, hearing and balance and not even know it. These are ways you might be helping someone with hearing loss or low vision and not even know it.
Smile - It might be the only smile someone sees all day!
Acts of Kindness - You never know how much you are helping with simple things like holding the door open for someone!
Say Thank You! - Thank someone for holding the door. Thank someone who helps you. Thank a cashier or a waiter. People like to be appreciated.
